Le 1520 is located in a historic part of town, which explains why the establishment is so beautiful, with its thick stone walls! The establishment doubles as an Irish pub and restaurant.
You can eat here first thing in the morning, ordering a hearty “Irish breakfast” of sausages, black & white pudding, beans, eggs and potatoes. (we recommend it!)
If you’d rather wait until lunch or dinner, you can choose from burgers, fish and chips, hearty beef steaks, salads and sandwiches. (Dishes range from €8 to €13: rather economical and high-quality).
The service is impeccable, the boss friendly, and the food delicious.
Last but not least, the establishment is very pleasant, if only for a drink. Le 1520 offers an impressive menu of Irish drinks (beers, whiskeys, etc.) as well as more exotic cocktails. It’s a great way to spend a good time, sip a pint in good company, and enjoy an exceptional setting.
The 1520 is authentic, and also offers evening events, with trady music and DJs. People flock to the stage and dance regularly! A real bridge between tradition and modernity: it usually makes everyone agree!
