A tourist village by the sea

Ballybunion is much appreciated for the beauty of its coastline, beaches and remarkable cliffs. The area is teeming with all kinds of activities: surfing, fishing, golf, hiking, visiting the castle, discovering the dolphins off the coast…

The area is very welcoming, with a wealth of shops, Irish pubs and restaurants.

Don’t be surprised if you come across a statue of Bill Clinton in the town center. The monument was erected after the American politician came to play golf in the town.

Finally, don’t miss the village specialty, served exclusively in summer: periwinkles, cooked and served in paper bags on the go. A delight for seafood lovers!
