Visit Butterslip

A cool medieval alley

Butterslip is a street in Kilkenny town center, crossed by several arches. Although short, it will take you to the heart of medieval Kilkenny, and allow you to immerse yourself in its history.

A few stores are located on either side, and are often popular with tourists. Don’t hesitate to take a stroll down it: it’s an original street, and one of Kilkenny’s curiosities.

A pretty, busy street that’s well worth a look, even if you’ll soon have done the rounds!
