Peter and his family are the proud owners of a stable in Lisdoonvarna, specializing in horseback riding. Their center is open to all: whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned expert, young or old, looking for a leisurely stroll or a more sporting excursion… There’s something for everyone!
The walks on offer are unforgettable: you’ll pass through forests, reach the hills of Slieve Elva, gallop through the waves on a typically Irish beach… It’s a feast for the eyes, and a chance to become one with your horse and the surrounding countryside! Excursions offer a real change of scenery, and you can take time to admire incredible panoramas like the one overlooking the famous Cliffs of Moher!
The team at the center is charming and passionate about horses, as well as the wonders that Ireland has to offer. You’ll receive their undivided attention, and they’ll even make the effort to speak foreign languages (when they can). You’ll learn how to ride, the secrets to feeling at ease, and then, once you’ve completed your initiation, set off to explore the most beautiful landscapes on the Irish west coast. Please note that children can also ride.
Prices vary according to the tour chosen and its duration. Expect to pay around €100 for a half-day, and €200 per person for a full day. We advise you to contact them in advance to book your tour: the center is in great demand, and a little forethought is advisable to get your ride on the dates you want.
