An Irish pub in Temple Bar famous for its lively music sessions!

Located in the heart of the Temple Bar district, The Auld Dubliner is one of Dublin’s historic Irish pubs. Regulars like to drop in to enjoy the traditional music played every evening… as well as a drink and a generous plate of Irish food.

We love the excellent menu, which includes traditional favourites such as Irish stew, while at lunchtime on weekdays the pub serves coddle, Dublin’s traditional dish of boiled bacon, sausage and potatoes.

Special mention should be made of the Guinness beef casserole, or the seafood chowder, an exceptional traditional Irish soup. All served with a smile, for rather affordable prices, rarely exceeding €20 per dish (an appreciable rate, given the Temple Bar area, which tends to drive up prices).

Before entering, walk around behind the pub on Fleet Street and admire the colorful mural on the pub wall. It’s an institution: a fine example of street art.
