The Bushmills Inn Restaurant is located in a place steeped in history. The historic building boasts old stables, a 17th-century wine cellar and period whitewashed walls. The result is a unique restaurant that draws on its history and authenticity.
The establishment also boasts a superb patio and terrace: ideal for enjoying a lovely view of Bushmills.
In terms of cuisine, the restaurant offers purely Irish dishes. Mourne Mountains lamb, smoked salmon, braised chicken, crispy pork belly and pan-fried scallops… Here, the focus is on top-of-the-range and exceptional regional products. The quality is there, as is the attention to detail.
The result is tasty, delicious dishes. It’s a great way to enjoy and discover Northern Ireland’s terroir! (The establishment only buys from local farmers and breeders. Nearby fishermen also come to supply them with their catch of the day).
Expect to pay between £16 and £30 for a main course (compared with £5 to £9 for dessert). The service is top-notch, friendly and fast. The plates are hearty, generous and colorful. We enjoy eating here, and time flies. A beautiful address, particularly suited to couples in search of romance and an intimate setting.
The place is also perfect for friends, as it has a “pub section”. Suitable for people who don’t like formal settings, you can enjoy pub food: simple, effective and delicious! (On the menu, lots of finger food, emblematic Irish dishes… all accompanied by a good cold pint! In moderation, as always).
