Custom House, a building constructed in 1791 that now houses the Irish Department of the Environment.
Famine Memorial: an outdoor sculpture ensemble on the docks. The work pays tribute to the Irish victims of the Great Famine. These powerful sculptures are by Dublin artist Rowan Gillespie.
Sean O’Casey Bridge: a pedestrian bridge crossing the Liffey. Named after the Irish writer, it connects City Quay and the district on the south bank of the Liffey with Custom House Quay to the north.
Jeanie Johnston Tall Ship: a replica of an 1847 three-masted ship that carried many Irish emigrants to the United States during the Great Irish Famine. The ship is fully open to visitors and has been converted into a floating museum. A fascinating place to learn more about the Irish famine and emigration.
Samuel Beckett Bridge: undoubtedly the most beautiful bridge in Dublin! It connects North Wall Quay in the north to Sir John Rogerson’s Quay in the south. This stunning cable-stayed bridge is shaped like a harp, the symbol of Ireland! A true architectural marvel that Dubliners are very proud of!
Royal Canal: a great place for a walk along the Liffey.
Dublin Convention Centre: an ultra-modern conference center! The building’s inclined design and atrium make it a symbol of Dublin’s modernity.
O2: the capital’s concert hall! With a capacity of up to 14,500 people, it has hosted major artists like U2!
