Aughlish’s multitude of stone circles is a real eye-catcher. Lost in the countryside, the site is thought to date back to the Bronze Age in prehistoric Ireland…

The largest circle consists of 41 stones, some of which have been moved or moved off-center. As for the alignments, the largest is 18 metres long, and interacts with the stone circles…

The site is easy to reach and ideal for a short stroll along the megaliths. A lovely site, which should please fans of Irish history!
