The Belfast Waterfront Hall is a concert hall in Belfast, which can also be converted into an exhibition hall. Designed by architects Robinson McIlwaine, the hall was completed in 1997, and still boasts a modern, innovative look today… The Waterfront Hall alone represents the cultural dynamism of Belfast!
Access to the venue is easy, and is located on Lanyon Place in the heart of Belfast, close to the docks. The building has the advantage of being versatile and entirely transformable according to the event being organized: it can be used for concerts, as well as other events such as operas, conferences, political gatherings and art exhibitions.
The building is quite modern, combining a variety of materials, from glass to copper, which covers the entire dome (it has turned green over time, reminiscent of the dome of Belfast City Hall). The venue is regarded as the city’s cultural lung, and many events take place here throughout the year.
Please note that the site cannot be visited: access is only possible if you have a ticket for an event taking place there. Inside, the Waterfront Hall boasts a number of medium and large capacity rooms, as well as a bar and restaurant…
