Enjoy the great outdoors!

Gleninchaquin Park offers breathtaking scenery that’s great for walking! The park is quite large and remains open from morning until dusk. An interesting advantage if you want to discover the site at your own pace and spend the day there.

The park is surrounded by the McGillicuddy Reeks, one of Killarney’s mountain ranges, which give the park its majesty! Numerous paths and marked trails allow you to overlook the park and admire the panoramic views over the lakes, the surrounding meadows, Kenmare Bay and the thick forest. Numerous waterfalls are also accessible: one even reaches a height of 140 metres!

Hiking, fishing on the lakes (provided you have purchased a fishing permit at the visitor center), picnicking…etc. are all possible. Dogs are also allowed.
