The Dingle Dolphin Tour is sure to delight dolphin lovers! Take a boat trip to discover the dolphins of Dingle Bay, and play with them on a sea trip in their natural environment! A lovely walk, full of memories!
The Dingle Dolphin Tour has 7 shuttle boats making several round trips during the day.
The sea trip costs €16 per person, and used to be a chance to make friends with one of Ireland’s friendliest wild dolphins: the famous Fungie! Accustomed to living in Dingle Bay, this dolphin had become the village mascot, so appreciated was its recurring presence in the area. He particularly enjoyed playing with visitors and local fishing boats!
He had the merit of being adorable, and it was easy to fall in love with his mischievous and greedy appetite for fish!
Sadly, Fungie hasn’t been seen since October 2020… plunging the village into deep sadness. Nevertheless, the Dingle Dolphin Tour still exists, offering you the chance to meet other dolphins, explore the Great Blasket Islands and discover the wonders of the Dingle coastline. All in all, a wonderful change of scenery and a breath of fresh sea air!
Rides last around 1 hour, and are led by qualified staff in complete safety. Your boat will take you to the waters where dolphins usually roam: you’re almost certain to see them, but there are no guarantees!
