Circuit : A wild journey through Connemara.

Day 1 - Exploring Galway

We start with an arrival in Galway.

Discover the Claddagh Museum, dedicated to the famous Irish ring.

Continue with a visit to the Galway City Museum, which boasts an impressive collection of historical artifacts.

Grab a bite to eat in the Latin Quarter, then check out the Spanish Arch, a popular Galway landmark on the banks of Lough Corrib.

Finally, take a walk along the Long Walk, a circuit that takes you between the town’s colorful houses and Lough Corrib.

Stay overnight.

Day 2 - Discover the gateway to Connemara

Time to hit the road! Get in your car and drive to Oughterard to discover Augnahure Castle and Glengowla Mines, a historic local mine.

Then take the road to the Quiet Man Bridge, a bridge steeped in history.

Follow this with a drive to Derryclare lough, an iconic Connemara lake, famous for its pine island in the middle.

Stop off along the way to discover Ballynahinch Castle, then Clifden Castle.

Spend the night in the area.

Day 3 - The Sky Road

It’s time to discover the heart of Connemara! Get back in your car and follow the Sky Road, a famous scenic route along the Irish coastline.

Eat your meal and then treat yourself to an exceptional view of Connemara’s wide open spaces, as you climb Diamond Hill. You’ll dominate the entire region!

Spend the night in the area.

Day 4 - Between sumptuous roads and exceptional castles

Get back on the road and discover Inagh Valley, a superb Irish valley renowned for its desolate landscapes, deserted moorland, remote lakes and mountains.

Follow this with a visit to Kylemore Abbey in Letterfrack, a Victorian-style abbey and castle lost in an enchanting setting!
